Crane-assisted Removals

Crane-Assisted Removal in Chester Springs, PA

Even the biggest tree doesn't stand a chance against our crane guy.

Our professional tree removal services:

Let's face it: sometimes they're just too big.

The trees, that is. Trees that are too difficult to access, too large, or too dangerous for a climber to safely ascend may be recommended for crane-assisted removal. Luckily, we know just the guy for the job.

These types of removals are much more complicated and involved, and therefore tend to be pricier. Properties with hard-to-reach trees, large removals, or many dead trees in proximity to structures will receive a recommendation for crane removal.

Is crane-assisted removal right for you?

If your tree is difficult to access, extremely large, rotted, dead, or perched precariously over your home or the roadway, removal by crane might be the option for you. There are several factors that you should consider before opting to remove your tree via crane:

  1. Crane removals can be very expensive, especially in situations that are more dangerous or complex
  2. Cranes can help speed up the removal process and lessen the amount of time spent on your property compared to a non-crane-assisted removal of the same caliber
  3. Anytime heavy machinery is used, you run the risk of damaging your lawn (we always use mats to protect your grass!)
  4. Larger cuts of trunk wood will need to be staged on your property until our log truck can remove them. The rest will be chipped or prepped for firewood
  5. Depending on the condition and shape/size of your tree, you might be able to save some money by sending the wood for milling

There are many reasons why someone would or wouldn't want to bring in a crane to remove a tree. Why not make it easy on yourself? If you are unsure or would like to have an expert arborist assess your property for crane-assisted removal, give us a call or schedule an appointment today.
